
Natural Resource Management – Sacred Heart Junior College
The associate degree in natural resource management is designed to prepare students for a variety of careers in the management and protection of Belize’s natural resources. The program focuses on seven areas: biology, chemistry, waste management, terrestrial management, marine ecosystems, Belizean environmental law and polices and field biology. The courses are offered through a balance of classroom time, and outdoor learning activities. Graduates will know Belizean environmental law and procedures, best conservation practices and the effective management of Belize’s ecosystems.
