The Associate Degree in Business program at Sacred Heart Junior College aims to prepare competent, capable, and community-centered business professionals by offering quality, innovative, practical, and community-oriented business instruction to our students and the wider community. Develop knowledgeable, professional, and intellectually capable business graduates that are able to gain employment or create their own employment. Foster the use of critical thinking and creativity to solve business problems. Develop effective business communication skills. Provide the opportunity for students to experience the real world of business through internships and other practical business experiences. Develop socially, ethically, and community-conscious business students. Prepare students for further undergraduate study in business, business management, or a specific functional area. Our vision is to become the learning community of choice for business education in Belize. The Business program prepares students by offering the following courses: Financial Accounting I Microeconomics Introduction to Computer Applications Accounting Software Financial Accounting II Macroeconomics Belizean History Business Management Marketing Human Resource Management Consumer Behaviour Accounting Software Advertising and Public Relations
