Most Belize property outside the town centers is on a private well — municipal water only reaches the district capitals reliably, and even there pressure and quality are inconsistent. Wells in the flat coastal plain (Corozal, Orange Walk, Belize District) hit water at 30–80 ft; the Cayo and Toledo hills go deeper. Expect to pay by the foot ($40–$70 BZD/ft depending on rig) plus casing, pump, and pressure tank as separate line items.
