Registration is completed in person at any Social Security Board branch office within seven (7) days of employing your first employee. An Employee List (R1A) is to be submitted along with the following documents.Proof of Identification of Authorized Person, Owners & Directors: Valid Social Security Card, Passport or Voters’ Identification Card Where the subscriber/ shareholder or director is a company, a valid ID of the authorized representative(s) is to be presented. Proof of Identification: Valid Social Security Card, Passport or Voters’ Identification Card for owners/partners Where the owner(s) resides abroad, a clear copy of a photo ID of the authorized representative(s) is to be presented along with a letter of authority to conduct business on the owner’s behalf. Proof of Address: Utility bill for the local business must bear a Belize address and must be active and recent, within the past 3 months.
